Mr. Chester has enjoyed a successful career as a professional actor, appearing in more than a hundred episodic television shows as well as ten feature films. Between 1985 and 1990 he appeared as “Michael Crawford” on daytime’s The Young and The Restless. Shortly after moving to the northwest in 1988, he became the on-camera spokesman for the Northwest Ford Dealers. He also appeared as co-host of the Seattle Today show from 1990-1991. A lifelong passion for photography has led him to several exotic locations over the past forty years, including Central and South America, The Galapagos Islands, Thailand, East Africa and, on several occasions, Europe. Most recently, his work has been displayed at The B-Town Scoop in Burien and Café Dharwin on Capitol Hill. Images of his recent trip to Machu Picchu will be on display at Starbucks in Belltown between July 5,and August 15, 2005. Steve Nichols
 

              B. A. – University of Washington
              Currently teaching Glamour Photography Workshops throughout
              the U.S.  Students have come from 6 countries so far to attend.

Mr. Nichols involvement in photography began in college.  While in school at the U. of W., he worked as a custom color printer in a commercial photo lab, printing for many of Seattle's leading professional photographers. This led to a job as a wedding photographer, which led to portrait work.  Mr. Nichols has taught general photography classes at the following: Experimental College at the University of Washington in the mid-70’s, Waxman’s Camera, Denver, mid-80’s, and Cameras West, Seattle, early 90’s. Published in Shutterbug and Intervieu Magazine in Europe.  After college Steve worked in sales and marketing, and eventually tired of corporate America and opened his business for full-time commercial photography. Mr. Nichols currently has fine art prints on display at the Armchair Sailor store gallery in Seattle, and is doing free-lance commercial work on an assignment basis.  His assignments have ranged from Aerial, Architectural, Product, Portrait, and event photography.
